We were recently contacted by a fireman at Camp Liberty in Iraq who asked us design their new duty shirt as a reward for their passing a skills test.... Here is what he wrote....

"We are firefighters from all over the USA, some career some volunteer.  We are comprised of 2 stations with 2 engines, one tanker, and one heavy rescue and a 3rd station with an ARFF truck.  We recently were tested on our skills and operations and we scored a 95, which was the highest in country.  We strive everyday to do our best to " Protect those who protect the peace."

On or off duty these men and women are risking their lives in the middle of a war zone. Mortors land near their stations regularly. They face many other hazards that in civilian firefighting we will never face. Black Helmet is proud to represent them, and I am proud to be considered one of their brothers.
